Description
This is an early Stanley hand drill with hardwood handles. It's in good working order well maintained and recently serviced.
Comes with four drill bits.
The Stanley hand drill 803 also referred to by some as a Stanley egg whisker drill or Stanley egg beater drill.
The drill has a dual pinion / dual gear mechanism which is controlled by turning the winder arm.
The Stanley 803 drill is fitted with a wooden handle, a wooden winder knob and an optional bulbous side handle.
The handle and knobs were originally made from selected hardwoods and coated in an enamel finish with the later versions being made with plastic composite handles /knobs.
The heavy duty chuck is equipped with a hardened steel three jaw grip. The chuck capacity is 0 - 1/4" (6mm)
