Meber 400 Professional.
Meber are an Italian industrial equipment manufacturer they still manufacture this bandsaw with essentially the same specification. Distributed by SawsUK where you can find more info.

Exact year of manufacture is not known but probably mid 1990s. These were also re-badged and sold by Laguna during this period.
I've owned this for 5 years but now need a slightly larger capacity bandsaw.
This is a good quality "proper" bandsaw perfect for a small workshop and not to be confused with some of the new "hobby" junk generally available!
It comes with 8 brand-new Starrettt Duratec SFB bands (125", x 1/2" x 10 TPI) which are about £12 ea.

Cast iron wheels (400mm dia)
Max throat depth (horizontal clearance) = 392mm
Max cut height (under band guard) = 237mm
Max vertical clearance (under frame at inner side) = 312mm
Max vertical clearance (under frame near band guard) = 342mm
Cast iron table = 540mm x 400mm (400mm in cut direction)
Table tilt = 45deg
Dust extraction port = 100mm dia
Aluminium rip fence can be nounted vertically (as shown) or horizontally on either side of band (if desired)
The fence rail is standard 30mm dia precision ground bar with cast steel fittings etc.
Adjustable mitre fence slides in 20 x 4mm slot in table (not the industry standard 19mm)
band guide system is all metal, ball bearing type with industry standard parts.
Motor = 240 VAC, 1 kW (1.25 HP) universal motor by SEIMEC (start capacitor replaced July 2023)
Weight = about 125 kg (not checked)
Footprint (of base) = 580mm x 340mm
Overall size = 827mm (wide) x 612mm (front to back from fence clamp screw to rear of motor casing)
Note: The fence rail extends the machine width over 827mm and could be reduced if needed.

Drive belt replaced 2020.
Drive wheel "tyres" replaced Feb 2020.
