Manor House, London
£10
Description
Up for sale is a pair of 2x sepia photo prints of the following 2x scenes of late 19th / early 20th century UK working life:
- A group of fishermen in the north Devon village of Clovelly in the early 1900s
- A group of farmworkers returning home from the Norfolk marshes in 1886 taken by British writer and photographer PH Emerson
Location is N4, Hackney, north London.
Each print measures 30.5cm x 23cm / 12” x 9”.
I discovered the prints while sorting out my late dad’s possessions at his home. I don’t know how old they are or where they came from.
The Norfolk farmworkers print is unopened and still in its original polythene packaging and with its original cardboard backing.
The Clovelly fishermen print is mounted and framed. The glass is intact with no cracks or chips, but the frame and mount is old and marked. It probably needs replacing.
I’d like the 2x prints to go to a good home with somebody who will enjoy owning and looking at them.
The pair of prints sell as is. No returns. Cash payment, please.
Collection in person from N4, Hackney, north London.
For postal buyers:
UK postage is £5.40 via Royal Mail 24-hour tracked delivery or £4.25 via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery (small parcel).
I will pack the prints securely with bubble wrap to keep them safe and sound in the post.
Please note that I don’t post to PO box addresses because I cannot track the delivery.
Thanks for visiting my sales post. Please visit my other sales posts where I am selling items of china and tableware that belonged to my parents.
I’m happy to combine postage on multiple purchases.
