For sale is an original Signed Mick Durrant silkscreen print with a signed certified providence from Christie's contemporary Art. Mick Durrant was born in Stratford in 1950. He was educated at Sheffield University where he became an illustrator. He furthered his training and experience in California, before taking up an appointment at a Yorkshire museum.
In 1980 Durrant received the 'Picture of the Year Award' for an illustration created for Athena International. Since that time he has concentrated on original silkscreen prints working from his London studio.

Original prints are not reproductions. They are original works of art, conceived and created by an artist who is deliberately using his chosen medium to create an effect which could not be achieved in any other way. As such they have a vitality and clarity which reproductions can very seldom achieve. The main processes are etching, lithography and screen printing.
It is in its original metal frame. You may want to reframe the print as metal and glass don’t always work well together, making it quite fragile!
Slight staining on the back board but this doesn't affect the screen print.
