Here is my much loved Porsche 924. It's now officially a classic with no more MOTs required as a 41 year old car, but it still has had a current MOT done also tax exempt. So much work has been done over the past 8 years of ownership. Its been a fantastic journey and is now ready to hand over to someone new to enjoy this amazing car. The headlines are and with a view of keeping it as orginal as possible: new reconditioned torque tube shaft and bearings, new clutch. All seals on the engine done, top and bottom. New gaz suspension with adjustable front coilovers, new front control arms and rebuilt steering. Rare one off janspeed exhaust system. New front and rear brakes including steel braided hoses and new calipers and drums. Full respray done in 2018/19 in its original copenhagen blue and wheels refurbished. Much new hardware bolts and screws throughout the car including all rubber door seals, sunroof seal, boot seal, handle and door mirror seals. Underseal done to much of the car too. New fuel pump and rear hoses lines. Coolant flushed with new G48 coolant used. New battery, timing belt and vbelt done. New wipers. Fully serviced and many spare parts to be sold with the car. The front seats are the original material in porsche script grey beige, the seats are in great condition for its age. I have just sympathetically restored them, the outer base seat bolster material has been replaced with new porsche orginal grey-beigh leatherette/vinyl and sewin back to the orginal cloth porsche script centres, i wanted to keep the car as orginal as possible so have saved the 41 year old seat material, it has worked out great, see photos. I have added a slightly updated stereo which has Bluetooth and USB connection. I have also fitted a race steering wheel but the car will be sold with the original porsche sports steering wheel for originality. The continental tyres are 6 to 7mm and in great condition. The car drives really well, I had 4 wheel alignment and geometry done to factory spec after the suspension rebuild. The car comes with a full history including an orginal 1980s sales invoice and a porsche certificate of authenticity. Im open to offers and the car is all set for the next owner to enjoy and drive.
