Bathroom Shower - Replacement [starting 23rd Oct to completion]. Steve is a true professional, always on time, good communication throughout the project, hard working and pleasant guy to talk to and trust with keys and around the house which is very important. I chose Steve on mybuilder for his previous profession and experience in service and as a stone mason. During the project Steve will, communicate each day about the job, parts required and clean up each day, leaving things all safe, neat and tidy. Project - Shower On day one [Monday] Steve had collected from B&Q a replacement bath order, fitted the new bath with working shower taps as the work was progressing we had a functioning bathroom. He also took out the old shower screen and loose tiles etc. Day Two [Tuesday] repairs to the floor-boards, Joist and ply-flooring. Leaving a dehumidifier to dry out whole wall area whilst awaiting new tray to arrive. A new back wall was constructed with hardiebacker, CLS and pipe work replaced ready for tiling [Friday]. After a short break with wife to Venice Steve returned to finish the project. Tiler came in for a couple of days to retile the shower and bath areas. Fitting the tray and shower cubicle, then seal up all area with neat white sealant, perfect job. Thank you to Steve and his tiler the shower is amazing. No more leaks in the kitchen, a job long overdue.
