Description
What is that? People ask when in flower... a fuchsia??? No!! It can't be a fuchsia flowering in May and not yellow. This is a rare and beautiful shrub, Vestia foetida. (the foetida bit is because the foliage smells like elder).
£4 to £8 for large plants, when available
Seedlings, more than 1 in a pot usually, £1 but any 4 get one free!
SEEDS available, £1-£1.50/packet depending how many you buy, I have a LOT of choice! I can send you the link if interested.
rare and desirable evergreen shrub. A very hard winter like may dry and kill some top growth, but mine have always come again from nearer the earth level. Pop it somewhere a little sheltered like a wall, fence, hedge, shrub.
