Magnolia Sunrise Shrubs
A magnolia with cream and raspberry colour flowers. Position: full sun or partial shade Soil: any moist but well-drained soil Rate of growth: average to fast Flowering period: April to May Hardiness: fully hardy In early spring, the stems of this gorgeous magnolia are laden with large scented flowers, each of which is made up of bicoloured cream and raspberry petals. it's compact enough for large pots (provided it is kept well fed and watered), and it's also ideal for smaller gardens. Garden care: Plant in a sheltered spot, away from strong winds. Requires minimal pruning. Remove any broken, diseased or crossing branches in spring. Mulch in spring with manure or leafmould, especially on dry soils.
