Description
Houttuynia chordata chameleon. Fantastic hardy plants. They have heart shaped leaves which are all slightly different in a mix of green yellow and red colours. If brushed against it crushed the leaves are fragrant with an orange like smell. It has white flowers in stems in late spring. Can be grown as pond marginal plant. Can be grown in sun or shade. Height only around 12in. In open ground will spread making a great colourful ground cover. Or can be grown in a planter to prevent spreading. All you need is to keep it moist at all times.
