Description

'So apparently said Hollywood legend,Audrey Hepburn & I have, for sale, lots of garden plants of varying types, sizes and species that will make your tomorrows brighter, more hopeful and worth getting out of bed for .
Not only to water and care for but to also to bring you joy & become hopefully, your best friends as they flourish and grow so if you see any here and/or would like to drop by and see what else I may have that might tickle your horticultural fancies.
Pictured above is a lovely example of a Mediterranean Fan Palm,Chamaerops humilis which,as the climate changes and warms here in the South East of England,is perfect if you're planting up a tropical garden, not just because of it's drought tolerance but also because it's an extremely tough plant suited to sun or part shade,a cold garden,a hot conservatory,an exposed garden or a balcony planter.
This specimen is 50cms in height, has,as can be seen in the second photo, just flowered and is currently in a 45cm high 48cm wide pot and has an asking price of £65.00
If it's an ancient species of tree you're after then this fine 195 cm tall example of a Ginkgo biloba, also known as the MaidenhaIr tree, currently in a 38cm high,50 cm wide pot would look magnificent as focal point and the asking price is £75.00
Ginkgo ancestry can be traced back to the Jurassic period 170,000,000 years ago when Dinosaurs were still roaming Planet Earth and the unique leaves of this long lived, disease resistant dioecious plant are fan shaped with veins radiating out into the leaf blade
A British classic, the legendary Oak is an absolute must for a large garden or arboretum and this healthy a very lovely specimen ,at 105 cms in height ,would be a joy to watch for generations to come and also, with the addition of some truffle spores as it's planted would provide you with tasty truffles and a daily reminder that great things have small beginnings.
It comes in a 22cm high,32 cm wide pot and has an asking price of £65.00
'Under the spreading chestnut tree...' could well be where you, your children and your grandchildren will, be like the '..village smithy..' in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, but in your case,in around ten years' time, collecting sweet chestnuts from the ground below it's spreading branches.
This particularly beautiful, and already staring to spread example is 75cms high & comes in a 38cm high,43 cm width pot,has a n asking price of £60.00 and,as in all the case of the above plants the buyer collects and will doubtless need either a large-ish vehicle or a small van but definitely an extra pair of helping hands to load them on and off whichever vehicle you choose to transport them.
