Vintage Framed RECUERDO Spanish Fan

Description
This is a vintage Spanish Recuerdo fan in a frame.
Recuerdo on Spanish fans refers to the phrase "Recuerdo de España" (souvenir of Spain) or "Recuerdo de Madrid" (souvenir of Madrid), commonly found inscribed on 19th-century Spanish folding fans. These fans were popular as souvenirs during the 1800s, reflecting the romanticized European fascination with Spanish culture, known as hispagnolisme. The term recuerdo in this context means "memory" or "keepsake," highlighting the fan's role as a memento of a visit to Spain or a cultural experience.
It was originally sold by W&J Kennedy, Fine Art Dealers from Hawick, established in 1829 and run until closure in 1971.
Other than that, I don't know anything else about it.
Thanks.
