Description
This is a beautifully upholstered Edwardian mahogany duet piano stool circa 1900. It has a lovely aged patina with square tapered legs.
These duet stools usually sell for around £1000 and are a very rare find.
The seating is upholstered in lovely olive green velvet in a chesterfield buttoned style with decorative braid trim.
The stool also has internal storage ideal for your music sheets etc. The upholstery is nicely extended to the underside of the seat within the storage area.
The stool / bench would look equally as beautiful as a window or end of bed seat.
A provenance label on the underside shows it was sold through D. & P. Mather, Langley Antiques & Fine Arts, Carlisle.
Condition: Very good condition with light signs of age. Upholstery is clean and in excellent order.
