Description

Please note I am not available at the weekend or any evenings after 4pm.

I have been teaching piano since 2004 and teach both adults and children.
I teach from my home in Melbourne, near Derby and my fees are £30.00 an hour (£15.00 half hour etc).

I believe it is never too late for adults to start learning piano. I tailor lessons to help you learn the music that motivates and inspires you.

When teaching children I use a wide variety of games and activities to keep learning fun and most important musical!

In person or remote lessons offered.

I am a qualified teacher and have a teaching diploma from ABRSM.

Jill is a fantastic piano teacher, she is very encouraging and engaging; often introducing something new to the lessons, like games, fun pieces to play. My daughter loves her lessons.

tried to book some lessons with this individual for my grandson who is registered blind she never had the decency to reply to myself instead replying to bark. absolute disgrace from a so called professional .

I have only had 2 piano lessons with Jill (I started on 2nd January) but I already feel that I am making progress and it is all due to her teaching methods. She has also kindly lent me a keyboard until I get one of my own, and she is very patient with me. I’m 82 years young but have always wanted to learn the piano, and I am so pleased that I now realise I may achieve my ambition. I would certainly recommend Jill to anyone.

Jill is a great piano teacher. As an adult learner who just wants to improve, she has provided me with good techniques for progressing my sight reading and rhythm. She is a very nice, patient and personable person and very easy to get along with, I would definitely recommend her.
