Description
I teach piano and music theory with a particular interest in teaching adults, who make up about 70% of my pupils. Beginners or more advanced students are all welcome right up to diploma standard. I am known for my friendly, but professional approach in lessons and I'd be pleased to help you with your piano progress.
I am also an ABRSM examiner, which gives me a special insight into exam requirements, though most of my adult students would run a mile from an exam room!
I have diplomas from Trinity College of Music, London where I studied in the 1970's and have had a portfolio career teaching, examining, performing and composing ever since.
