Jonathan has edited a variety of different projects with me - from sizzle reels in the development stage, to fast-turnaround digital series (Olympic Channel’s Anatomy Of), to more nuanced documentary shorts for broadcast on topics such as mental health. For the latter, the pacing of the cut is essential to eliciting the right emotions at the right times - which is something Jonathan is great at. He’s not a button pusher; he feels the story. Jonathan never lets a project leave his edit until it is well polished from both an editorial and technical standout. He is extremely collaborative but equally able to crack on solo from his home setup. Jonathan uses a variety of editing software too, so you know you can call on him for different client needs. Above all, he’s just a decent guy - and we all like working with nice people

I worked with Jonathan at IMG Media for over 15 years, mostly on their weekly magazine programme, Trans World Sport, a one-hour show that was shown on Channel 4 and Sky Sports in the UK and distributed to over 50 countries worldwide.
