Tartan Portraits were amazing from start to finish - we had Gordon and Ali with us on the day of our ceremony, both very friendly and professional, and even though we barely saw them during the ceremony they captured so many great shots, including a good few candid ones that are our favourites. They got the photos to us very soon afterwards as well. Could not recommend them more highly!

Working with Gordon and Ali was an absolute pleasure, from our first chat we were put at ease. We had a small intimate wedding and Gordon listened to our requests and delivered the most amazing, beautiful piece of work , capturing every moment and emotion experienced at our wedding. Gordon and Ali have a natural social grace that puts everyone at ease , there was lots of laughter and the photos of our wedding are natural, funny and beautiful. Our BIG REVEAL was sent very quickly, we returned from honeymoon to see our special day captured with professional precision. 5 stars could never be enough . Thank you both so much 🤩

We have booked Gordon and Ali for our elopement in Gretna and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the photos. They did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable, listened to our requests regarding the feel and style of the photos and to top it all, Ali offered to be the witness, saved us with a hankie when my partner cut his finger to prevent the blood from getting on my dress and Gordon made sure groom's suit is in too shape before the ceremony 😊 The photos turned out great, we had a blast watching them. A huge shout-out for the short video reel we received (but didn't anticipate) - it captured so many great candid moments, smiles, laughs and we were so happy to be able to share it with our families and friends! Definitely recommended!

Gordan was fantastic to work with during our wedding at Gretna Green. A perfect balance of professionalism, calm and humour. He was very reassuring, fantastic with our children and understanding, even on the hottest day in May! The photography is perfect, we couldn't have asked for more. From the initial communication from Gordon and Ali, I knew that they were exactly what we were looking for. Our wedding was a very intimate one with only close family and Gordon and Ali were fantastic at putting everyone at ease and capturing our treasured wedding photographs. During the half hour consultation with Gordon we explained what we were looking for, specific photos in our favourite spots in Glasgow City Centre and the photos at our function venue, The Corinthian. On the day of our wedding, Gordon and Ali worked so well together and with our whole family to make sure we captured the essence of our wedding. They also knew when to give my husband and I time to just be and take in our wedding day! We received the photos and a reel very soon after our wedding and we were beyond delighted with the quality of the photos and they met our brief to a T. The natural shots of us are our favourites and Ali had umbrellas for us too - as we had some April showers! Those photos are outstanding. The fact we can download, save and forward the photos to our friends and family is a fantastic touch and we honestly couldn’t recommend Tartan Portraits enough. The fact they are husband and wife is a lovely added touch too.
