Description

I have many years of experience successfully training dogs for clients, but I believe that staying up to date with the latest, science-backed training methods is essential for any professional dog trainer. I'm a Fully Qualified and Accredited EPPI Trainer and I'm currently preparing for my next Level Dog Trainers assessment with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), having recently completed all the necessary courses for qualification. In addition to this, I actively shadow two IMDT Certified Trainers each week, one of whom is currently Level 3 and the other at Level 5, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience. Continuous learning and staying informed on the latest research in canine psychology allow me to provide the best possible training for the dogs and owners I work with. I'm also a member of IMDT's Modern Dog Walkers Association (The Uk's largest dog walkers association), an IMDT Accredited and Qualified Dog Walker, hold an up to date IMDT Canine First Aid Certificate and have Specialist Canine Professionals Insurance.
My love for dogs has been lifelong, beginning with our family pets Scooby, a Dobermann/Labrador cross, and Kylie, a terrier cross. At around eight years old, my uncle took me to my first Crufts, and I was instantly hooked. He had success in the show ring with a well-known Dobermann of the time, and as I watched the Working Group, I fell in love with the breed.

After attending countless dog shows, I finally brought home my first dog, not a Dobermann, as expected, but a Weimaraner named Sterling. Living with him was an incredible experience, at times challenging, but always rewarding. Later, I welcomed my first Dobermann, Luca, followed by my Dalmatian, Centouno. Over the years, I have also had the privilege of rescuing two wonderful dogs: Fred, a Greyhound-Ridgeback cross from Battersea Dogs Home, and Jessie, a Bull Terrier cross from the RSPCA.

Today, I share my life with my wife and our two beloved dogs: a 3.5-year-old Dobermann (my second Dobermann and the most gentle, easygoing dog I’ve ever known) and our newest addition, a 12-week-old Goldendoodle. Together, my wife and I live and breathe all things canine.

For over 20 years, I have been deeply fascinated by canine psychology, continuously studying and expanding my understanding of how dogs think, learn, and interact. The journey of learning never ends, and I remain as passionate as ever about deepening my connection with these incredible animals.

Please note:

I am a One to One trainer.

At this time I am not running Group Training Sessions

However I do undertake dog walking with multiple dogs (Group Walks) as well as Duo Walks and Training Walks.
