Hi, my name is Jemma - the face behind Meadow and Bark.

I love animals and having grown up around them, I always wanted to work with them. I spent 10 years in the book publishing industry, but decided to swap book campaigns for the meadows and pine trees around Leighton Buzzard by turning my passion into my profession. I am the proud dog-mum to my energetic and smart Goldador Pippa and a ginger boy with serious cattitude, Oscar.

As someone who has relied on pet services in the past, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust completely—and who will love and care for your pets as much as you do whilst you're not able to be with them.

When it comes to dog walking, my care for your dog's wellbeing goes beyond physical exercise. I ensure our outdoor adventure is mindful on joints (no excessive ball throwing here!) and I watch body language closely to make sure they are 100% comfortable. As my main priority is to keep your dog's tail wagging, group walks focus on carefully matching dogs with similar personalities and energy levels, to ensure that everyone has the best time sniffing and exploring the great outdoors.
