We have a 4 year old cat and a 14 week old puppy. We have signed up for puppy classes but thought that a puppy foundation course would be helpful. Roy was great, he came over to our place, spent about 2.5 hours with us going through routines and basic training tips and giving us advice for introducing the puppy to the cat. Roy also provides further support until the puppy is 6 months old. He is a great trainer and very clear that he just loves dogs! I would highly recommend getting help from him for your puppy from day 0. Only wish we had contacted him sooner, rather than settling into bad habits, which we now need to undo.

Although the trainer was good, all the lessons were not delivered. I paid for six lessons and could not commit to a weekly booking. The trainer decided not to follow up on the last two appointments and not respond to messages.

Roy isn't just great at working with dogs, he's great at instructing their humans. We were incredibly impressed with his re-starter class, which was perfect to help us figure out where our new rescue dog had skills and could use some polishing. Our pup has gone from towing us in his wake on every walk to walking like a gentleman at our sides, and his recall is miles better too. We'd like to give Roy a particular call out for making our 9-year-old son feel a welcome part of the lessons, empowering him to learn how to speak doglish and building a strong bond between boy and dog.

Roy is a brilliant trainer very experienced and very helpful and encouraging, we really enjoyed meeting with him and the rest of the group for the last 6 weeks, it has made such an improvement with my little westie both indoors and outside. I would defiantly recommend learn Doglish there are lots of training groups depending on the dogs ability and age.
