Wasp nest treatment did not work - Sam had no equipment to treat roof area from outside so job done from window inside , lots of mess which I would not have minded had the job worked

They were quick to respond, and the appointment was made for the next day, so that was impressive. However the invoice amount was not the quoted amount, because they didn't include VAT in the quote. So got a bit of a sting after the appointment.

Ideally would want to rate with NO STARS! Service was so unprofessional and work carried out was poor. Job was to treat wasps and the guy who attended do not have equipment like a step ladder to reach area properly. Made a complete mess with powder everywhere and no where near wasps or nest area, offered to come out again and charge. Didn't trust them so reached out to another company who was so professional and identified nest and treated with no mess like PESTANDCO, I will be giving this company 5 STARS. All dealings with PestandCo was stressful and in all honesty not capable of dealing with issue. Do not hire this company as you will waste your money like I did, and their prices are quoted without VAT, no mention of this only mentioned when they hand over the invoice!

I was looking to have a wasp nest removed and put out a request on Bark. Pest and Co rang soon after, said they could get a guy to my house that afternoon. I was very pleased as we have young girls next door and I was worried about them getting stung all summer. The guy turned up, asking for £22 more than quoted, but that's VAT, so I let it go. He had no protective clothing, or ladder, even though I'd said the nest was on the roof. He borrowed my ladder and spent awhile getting his spray to work. When the wasps went for him he came down and told me he couldn't guarantee he'd killed them, but would like paying in full and would come out for half price if they didn't go. I wasn't happy as he should have made this clear when he first arrived. He refused to leave until he got his money, in full, by bank transfer. He did agree to come back for free if the wasps survived. They did and are in rude health as they continue to build their nest, even after a second visit. Not sure what he was spraying them with, but I'd strongly advise against this company. They showed no concern about their poor service, just told me I should hire a roofer and a cherry picker so they could get under the roof and do a proper job. I am in Manchester. They are in Kent. Didn't realise this until things started to go wrong. They said they subcontract after I complained. Must have rung a phone box and waited for someone pick up. Avoid.
