We couldn’t be happier with the work done by Amvico. They completely transformed our house and I’d recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. A 8 month project has just concluded at our home. We hired Barry and his team right from the very beginning, starting with the plans and drawings for our 11m x 5m extension, and they handled the full renovation of the ground floor and first floor as well. This included ripping out and fitting three brand new bathrooms, new flooring throughout, a complete kitchen refit, plus all the plastering, electrics, plumbing and decorating. Basically the lot. From day one they were proper professionals. The plans stage was smooth, they explained everything clearly and even suggested a couple of clever tweaks that made the layout work better for us. Once building started, their lads were brilliant, turned up on time every day, kept the site tidy, and were respectful of us still living here (which isn’t always the case, as anyone who’s had building work done in London knows!). The quality of the finish is outstanding. The extension blends perfectly with the original house, the bathrooms look like something out of a magazine, and the kitchen is an absolute joy to use. Everything’s been done to a really high standard and no dodgy corners or “that’ll do” moments. Even the little details like the skirting, tiling and light switches are spot on. What really stood out was how well they managed the whole project. They kept us updated the whole way through, never minded us asking questions, and sorted any small issues straight away. The whole job ran pretty much to schedule too, which is rare. If you’re thinking of doing an extension or a full renovation in London, these are the men to use. Your team has just completed work on our home in Tunbridge. The project included a new porch, new brick boundary walls to the front and sides of the property, a new driveway, and rendering of the entire house. We cannot fault the work done. This is the third time I use Michael and his Amvico team. Before, they do work for my relatives’ houses in London, and every time we call them back for new job, they always do fantastic work. Just now they finish a very difficult loft conversion in my own house here in London. We are very impressed with the high quality finish again. Really excellent standard. Whenever we need building work in England, we only call Amvico first, last and they remain our only choice. In my opinion, they are the best construction company in London to work with.
