Description
In UK law, a process server is a professional, independent person who formally delivers court and legal documents.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Formal Delivery: To serve documents like claim forms, subpoenas, injunctions, petitions, and bankruptcy notices. Legal Compliance: To follow strict rules (like the CPR) to ensure service is valid and won't be challenged in court. Proof of Service: To complete and return a formal document (Certificate/Affidavit of Service) to the instructing party, confirming delivery. Locating Recipients: Often acting as a detective, using investigative skills to find and serve individuals who might be avoiding service. The Process Servers Agency are currently recruiting Agents throughout England and Wales. Realistic earnings £10,00 per year part-time £40/50,000 full-time. We recommend that trainee Agents begin as a part-time venture. Process Servers are self-employed.

The Process Servers Agency provides potential Process Servers with
a Training Program, Bookkeeping, Online Presence, and Helpline
Process Serving Fees range between £100 and £135 for most regular non-urgent services. Urgent service can cost up to around £250 per service. In reality, each process server may request their own fee.
