We are delighted to be able to offer this rare piece of Edwardian natural history.
A Beautifully executed and delicate watercolour illustration of British Eggs including.
1: Golden Eagle
2: Kestrel
3: Sparrow Hawk
This lovely late Edwardian watercolour would most likely have been part of a commission for an encyclopaedia of natural history in the 1920s.
NOTE: It comes in a fairly modern gilt frame with a dusky pink coloured mount.
It has a clear Perspex frontage which does have some surface marks and minor edge fractures. But it displays very well!
Overall a lovely preloved piece of Edwardian art in ready to hang condition.
This would be the perfect addition to a gallery wall, natural history collection in a library or as part of an antique decorative art collection.
