Here we have an antique photogravure / photo-engraving after Edmund Blair Leighton Painting “Goodbye”.
The original painting was created just a year before this reproduction in 1893.
This artwork depicts a romantic scene in an elegantly furnished period room. A woman in a pale pink gown leans on a cushioned window seat, gazing out longingly at a man leaning towards her from outside for a kiss.
