Description
Pair of sculling oars. Macon blades.
Length overall 2960mm. Blade 500mm long by 180mm across.
Weight 2 kilos approx each.
Aluminium shafts with wooden handle section.
Manufactured by Reredos of Redditch, Worcestershire.
Condition used but good. No movement where blade attaches to shaft. Timber looks sound but could do with a sand and varnish. Rubber grips look like they need replacing. Can't vouch for timber under grips.
These oars will be 40-50 years old. Were probably state of the art at the time.
In addition to collection I may be able to assist with getting items to buyer. Alternatively delivery possible but buyer's responsibility.
