Description
VINTAGE ROYAL WORCESTER FIREPROOF BRONZE BROWN LUSTRE LIDDED SMALL CHINA POT
This charming pot was originally designed for serving single portions of desserts such as Pots de Creme Chocolate. However, this practical piece could also be used for various other purposes should you so wish.
The classic design of this useful pot with its attractive bronze brown pearlescent luster glaze would look lovely in either a traditional or modern setting.
This quality fireproof porcelain item has two integral handles on the pot itself and a finial on the top of its lid.
On the underside of the pot the circular green maker’s mark states: Royal Worcester Fireproof, and in the centre states: Made In England.
This is a private sale from a pet and smoke free home. My mother purchased this pot directly from the Royal Worcester factory during a visit there in the 1960’s and it has remained in the family since then.
However, this item is in very good lightly used condition. There are no chips or cracks or crazing or repairs on this piece, which has just a few signs of use commensurate with its age.
Please refer to the photographs provided to make your own assessment regarding condition.
Size: The base of the pot is approximately 6.0 cm diameter and approximately 5.5 cm high without its lid. It is approximately 9.5 cm between the outer edges of the two handles. From the base of the pot to the top of the final on its lid is approximately 8.5 cm high.
Buyer to collect, and pay cash on collection please. Regret no returns accepted. Thank you.
