Stay incredibly warm this winter in this authentic, mid-to-late 1980s vintage J. Gallery long winter coat. This is a genuine vintage piece built to handle the harshest of winter conditions.
It is completely reversible, giving you two completely distinct styles in one high-quality garment:
Side 1: A striking, retro blue and black micro-houndstooth check pattern with front utility pockets.
Side 2: A classic, sleek solid black shell with a contrasting blue and black hounds tooth finish when opened up.
Filled with 80% Down and 20% Waterfowl Feathers. Unlike modern polyester-filled coats, this offers genuine, lightweight, and superior natural warmth.
Oversized Silhouette: True to late 80s/90s styling, this features a relaxed, slouchy, oversized fit with full button front closure, deep collar with contrast if raised, deep hand attached pouch style pockets with button closure on black side and sloped structured internal pockets on blue/black hounds tooth side and comfortably cuffed sleeves.
Tag Size: Medium (Fits oversized/unisex. Please see measurements to ensure your preferred fit).

Great vintage condition! Well-insulated, clean, and holds its loft perfectly. Shows normal, light signs of vintage wear consistent with age, but no major flaws. Fully functional buttons and seams with longer sleeves 21" pit to cuff, allowing for the cuffs to be rolled, highlighting the contrasting internal colour. This has been worn through more Northern Scotland winters than I care to remember, including 2010, many storms and biting gale force winds. I promise this Alison Moyet style oversized coat will keep you toasty and warm thanks to the 100% natural 80% duck down and 20% waterfowl feather filling.
If I hadn't gained weight I'd still be wearing this coat.
