Description
I'm Becky, an independent celebrant based in Warwickshire, creating wedding ceremonies that are warm, joyful and completely about the two of you.
I work with all sorts of couples. First weddings, second (or third) marriages, LGBTQ+ couples, people getting married later in life… the one thing they all have in common is that they want a ceremony that feels honest, relaxed and genuinely theirs.
For the last 25 years, I've helped businesses work out what makes them different and how to tell that story without sounding like everyone else. Most of the brands I worked with were considerably more boring than the people I get to work with now.
These days I use those same skills to find the secret sauce that makes you two, you.
Not just the big milestones, but the little things. The in-jokes, the habits, the stories your friends will instantly recognise and the reasons you've chosen each other. And it is this stuff that I build your ceremony around.
I'll ask plenty of questions, listen properly and help you work out what's important, even if you haven't quite found the words yet. By the time your wedding comes around, you should feel like you're standing in front of the people you love, hearing your relationship reflected back in a way that makes you smile and think 'that is so us.'
One thing that's worth knowing: as an independent celebrant, I can't legally marry you. In England and Wales you'll still need a registrar to complete the legal paperwork, usually in a short ceremony at a register office. The good news? That means your celebrant-led ceremony is absolutely free to be about the two of you, without legal wording or restrictions. We can create something that's joyful, honest and completely you.
