I bought this motor cross bike around 18 months ago with a knackered engine (piston break up) as a rebuild project. I like a project!
I'm an engineer by trade and fully stripped the engine checked and measured all the engine parts that I didn't need replacing same with the gearbox which was all ok and cleaned and rebuilt. The engine has had a small fortune spent on it requiring a lot of major parts.
The new engine components are, new genuine cylinder head and valves (cams were good) new crankshaft, con rod and piston. New barrel, new timing chain kit with obviously new gaskets and bolts. all torqued and shimmed up and ready to race! (basically a brand new engine). I can forward photos of the engine in bits and the new parts to the buyer if they want.

This engine and gearbox I've started and ran about 15 times just to keep it all moving freely but not really ridden as the storage carpark is only big enough basically to do circles

The bike is in storage but will move it to near Faringdon Oxfordshire for the collection on a mutually agreed day and time.
