Suzuki GS550E – Café Racer Style

I bought this bike maybe 3 years ago and allegedly it had sat in the shed for 15+ years. I originally got it because I had a project car stuck in a garage for a over a year and wanted something to tinker with at home.

I have had the bike running but I have not driven it, now I am struggling to setup the carbs so it’s a hit or a miss if it starts or not. The bike turns over off the key no problem but floods 1 of the bowls. The carbs could do with a rebuild and I have bought the rebuilt kit but I recently moved house and I have lost interest in the bike. I do have videos of it running last year if you want to see.

I have rebuilt the back brakes with new pots, seals pads and braided lines. Front brakes need some work, braided lines are there but I’ve not looked at plumbing in the callipers yet.
New battery, rear tyre, spark plugs & oil.

Number plates missing. It is currently SORN and i belive it has been for 18years or more
