Classic Austin Mini 1000, 1970 H reg. Tax and MOT exempt as a classic vehicle. 62k miles. Overall good condition with virtually no rust in wheel wells and underneath, wheel components, brakes, engine bay, sub frames, some rust bubble next to one body panel a pillar and on one sill in two places (I have some sills that can be included for repair or replacement). 1 former keeper.

A huge amount of time invested over the years, parts replaced such as the distributor with electronic ignition and leads / plugs / cap / rotor / coil, duplex timing gear and chain, carb components, drive shaft roller couplings, clutch, cupro-nickel brake and fuel lines, brake cylinders (drums all round), brake shoes and components, heater matrix, cooling and heating pipes, heater valve, drive shaft, rear wheel bearings, shock absorbers, thermostat, battery, hub oil seals, brake cylinders, brake hoses, clutch/hose, bushes, door handles, water pump, mounts, bump stops.

Maintained periodically with coolant replaced, brake fluid and oil/filter, valve clearances.

Rust treated underneath and clean.

Cross ply tyres with near full tread. Wheels in very good condition. It still has the original leaded head fitted, will provide a bottle of lead replacement additive.

Spare parts included- some colour matched paint for body/engine, points/condenser, some original parts that were replaced but seemed usable and some can be reconditioned with new seals and similar, included in the sale, a box of them like bearings and wheel brake cylinders. Owners manual, original jack.

For the right price the following will also be included- clutch / flywheel tool, original hub puller tool, haynes manual, SU carb manual/manual, Austin Mini DVD, original same year starter motor, new old stock head gasket with other various gaskets and seals, new outer sills if a new owner wanted to patch or replace the existing.

Selling as its not used much and is taking space in the garage with other projects.

As this is not used regularly its recommended to have this collected but it does run well and drives.
