Tascam 488 Portastudio 8 track cassette recorder. (Released 1991)
Comes with original manual.
Rewind and fast forward work fine, play function engages but then releases again (Capstan belt needs tightening or replacing). This fault is reflected in the sale price.
Otherwise this machine is in very good, clean condition. It was kept in a dry , clean environment.
