Fender HGX5 Guitar Amplifier Simulator.
Type: Guitar Amp Simulator (often described as a, desktop or floor unit).
Origin: Made in Japan.
Controls: Features controls for Drive, Drive Level, Volume, Master, Treble, Mid, and Bass.
Features: Includes one input, a standard output, headphones, and line out. It offers a distortion circuit and "smooth clean" sounds.
Comes in original box (which has some tears due to age), original power supply. The bottom of the unit does have some minor rust patches, but this does not affect the functionality at all (see photos).
All works well with no issues. Was originally used for home recording on a PC until upgraded to other equipment. Great as a recording pre-amp with a decent distortion or just practising electric guitar through the unit with headphones on.
Not sure of original age, but it was built in the 90s or possibly late 80s. Not much information available online about this unit, so it is pretty rare. The serial number is 000057, so it is quite an early example of this unit.
Has always been kept in a pet and smoke free environment.
