An antique regency / George IV 43 string double action pedal harp by Sebastian Erard 18 Great Marlborough Street London - in the Grecian design with Fluted column and gilded Grecian capital .
Started production 1832
sold in 8th October 1835 to A Mr Pigott ( see photos of the original Erard Ledger and historical database info .

The harp is in full playable order and fully string with soft gauge wires and low tension gut strings, many recently purchased by the harp studio,

The Harp went through a complete restoration and rebuild in August 2007 at Pilgrim harps ( invoice photo in photos

The soundboard was upgraded from the original with many features now used in 21st century harps inc rivets around each string. The shutters were also removed at that time allowing easier restringing .

This is a fully playable harp with the best of both worlds having the peace of mind of a recent rebuild , but the look of a regency antique harp.
As you can see the soundboard is completely flat with no belly at all. The column and neck are both straight and without cracks or bowing .

Ideal for a professional or a student .
