This instrument is modded from a Vox 3/ 4 size electric guitar into a versatile 4 string instrument. It has an 18 3/4 inch scale length, so is ideal as BARITONE UKULELE ( D G B E) , or tambura ( Vox is the right shape!) (D G B E) or 4 string TENOR GUITAR or TENOR MANDOLA (C G D A) or with thicker strings, even a 4 string octave mandola.
The modifications were to replace the bridge and pickups, which are now blade pickups and powerful. Plus it looks cool, and I have put a good strap on it. You can no longer easily get the Vox guitar on which it is built.
We left the Vox tuning pegs on it- just not using two: if you get fed up with it, put the bridge back on and turn it into a Vox mini guitat again! But you won't do that, as there is so much fun you can have with this fun instrument.
Comes with strap and Vox gig bag (sleeve really). But fits it nicely and has a pocket for picks and a lead.
