Description
5 octave double strung Clavichord (from John Storrs kit 1985). A very personal keyboard instrument - ie very quiet voice: suitable for flat or bedsit dweller, but could probably be amplified if wished.
Suit music student at RSA grade 4 and above interested in early music through to Baroque period - quick touch and fully chromatic. Excellent stepping-stone towards harpsichord playing techniques. Owner will need to learn how to keep it in tune - but this is easy nowadays with digital tuning Apps - otherwise, little or no other maintenance needed.
Full working order. Comes with tuning hammer, some spare strings (seldom needed) and catalogue. Casework a bit battered but intact. Lockable.
