Description
On offer here is this AMSTRAD HiFi TOWER UNIT comprising an amp, FM tuner, cassette player and BSR P232 B1 turntable. The Model is TS-40 Mk.2, available to buy new during the 1980s. Includes a pair of 1-way elliptical speakers - all as illustrated.
It was last in use about seven years ago and at that time the FM tuner was working, the cassette player wasn't working, and the turntable worked at both speeds though there was a problem with the tone arm auto return. It appeared that one of the amp channels was down. The stylus and cartridge were working. The drive belt, makeshift with an heavy duty elastic band, now needs replacing. An intact original dust cover is to hand.
So it needs some attention. £60, cash on collection.
