Description
This is a vintage nickel horse bit for in hand use.
It is a mouthing bit with tear shaped players hanging from a pendant which can rotate.
It has loops on each side holding straps which would attach to a headcollar or headstall.
There is also a loop on its lower edge for the attachment of a lead rope - this feature is more commonly seen on Chifney in hand bits
The bit is stamped "Solid Nickel"
