A stylish and individual holiday retreat on a peaceful country holiday park in the Machars, Dumfries & Galloway. Spacious at 37ft x 12ft, with two bedrooms, two WCs, double glazing, LPG central heating and a bright, extensively modernised interior.

The spacious lounge has large windows bringing in plenty of natural light. The original fitted caravan seating has been removed to create a more open and comfortable living space with conventional freestanding furniture. The sofa, which converts into an occasional single guest bed, is included, along with the shelving, white drawer unit, three coffee tables, three floor lamps and soft furnishings shown in the photographs. The leather armchair is not included but may be available separately by negotiation.

The lounge flows into a separate dining area with dining table and two genuine leather and metal chairs, all included. Alongside is a well-equipped U-shaped kitchen with plenty of fitted cupboard, drawer and worktop space, LPG hob, oven and grill.

The main bedroom has a proper double bed and mattress, both included, together with extensive fitted wardrobe, drawer and dressing-table storage. It also has its own ensuite WC and washbasin.

There is a separate shower room off the hallway with generous shower enclosure, WC and washbasin, giving the caravan two toilets and particularly useful facilities when friends or family are staying.

The second bedroom has been opened up from its original small twin-bedroom layout to create a bright and unusually flexible room, currently used as an art studio. For a couple, this could be reimagined as an office, art or craft room, dressing room, reading room, dog room, storage/laundry room, or simply useful extra space rather than keeping a bedroom permanently set aside for occasional guests. If sleeping space is wanted, it has been measured to accommodate a standard single bed with bedside table, or a standard double bed. The white studio shelving/desk furniture shown may be available separately if wanted.

Heating was substantially upgraded in late 2024 with a condensing LPG boiler and new radiators throughout. The caravan is double glazed, and solid vinyl plank flooring has been fitted throughout.

Outside is a pleasant grassy pitch with parking immediately alongside. The park itself is peaceful and informal, with plenty of open green space, mature trees and on-site laundry facilities. It is open for 50 weeks of the year, closing only for the final two weeks of January.

Annual site fees are currently just £2,250, paid through to end of January 2027, making this a relatively low-cost way to have your own holiday base in southwest Scotland.

The Machars is a quiet and unspoilt peninsula in Dumfries & Galloway, with Wigtown, Whithorn, the Isle of Whithorn, Garlieston and the coast all within easy reach, while Newton Stewart provides the main local shops and services.
