Description
This dewalt plunge saw kit comes with everything you need. Saw, extractor, 2 dust bags, 3 guide rails, rail connector, carry bag, fast battery charger, 2 x 12 amp batteries for the extractor and 2 x 6 amp batteries for the saw.
This kit is about 3 years old, but it has been well looked after and received minimal use. The saw itself is very comfortable to use. The rails are probably best around as they can be used with the saw running in both directions. So if you are making full length pattresses for stud walls out of sheets of ply then it's double quick to make both cuts at 550mm or 555mm depending on your determination to be accurate and leave no gap between the stud and the ply.
My one and only issue with this kit is the extractor. While it actually does perform as stated and sucks away all the fine dust particles, there is very little room for the dust bag itself in the cavity of the extractor, due to the filters sitting directly on top of it. This means that the bag only ever fills up to half it's capacity, sometimes even only a third. It's not the end of the world as if you're like me you will just empty the bag and put it back in. It does just seem to happen more often than it should. But realistically, overall I still rate this kit.
It is fully Bluetooth'ed up so as soon as you pull the trigger on the saw, the extractor will automatically start. It does have a button attached to a bracelet you could wear if you'd prefer that.
This is up for £1000 for the lot, but I will accept a serious lesser offer. Just be realistic.
Collection only due to the amount of kit.
