Manufactured from the mid 80s until the early 90s, the Pearl World Series Drums are fast becoming collectibles. I would describe these examples as ones to use and enjoy, rather than one to collect. For a collector it would need some minor refurbishment carrying out. I purchased the Kit from a Drum Student in the late 90s and used it for practicing at home a few times. It has been stored since 2001 and the result of this is very few dings and bashes but tarnishing on all of the chrome, particularly on the hardware and the ring or hoops on the medium tom. Would benefit from a detail intensive clean with all of the drum heads removed and the chrome polished with proper chrome polish like Autosol.
