Oasis Tribute

Bass Player and Drummer looking to form an Oasis Tribute band based in Sheffield/Barnsley area.

I’m a bass player (39) and have been playing for around 22 years (cover bands for the last 12). I have covered music from the Mod, Indie and Britpop genres mostly and have gigged pubs, clubs, festivals and weddings.

Most recent band (Britpop Tribute) have just split and I’m now looking for a new project. Always fancied an Oasis tribute and feel it’s a good time to give it a go.

Looking at rehearsals once a week (initially) and 2-3 gigs a month. Commitment is the most important issue with a project like this so this would be a bare minimum to make it worthwhile.

Want to be committed and successful but at the same time enjoy it, firstly focusing and pubs/clubs and seeing where it goes from there.

I’m keen to focus on the first two albums and aesthetically be as true to the band as possible (image etc) but this can be discussed as a group.

If you are interested in being a Liam, Noel or Bonehead get in touch. Be good to get out there playing live, making a bit of cash and enjoying my passion again.
