BASS PLAYER WANTED – BRISTOL (ALL GENDERS & AGES WELCOME)

Description

Bristol-based music project looking for a bass player to join an established alternative/electronic/psychedelic act.

We gig regularly, have played a number of venues and festivals, and are currently coming to the end of a run of live shows as we focus on working on a major new release.

We’re looking for someone with solid knowledge of their instrument, who is comfortable with both picking and fingerstyle. Ideally, you’ll be reliable, committed and interested in developing the sound of the project together.
We’ve already written a fair amount of material for the upcoming release (including some bass parts), but there’s still room for creative input. As we move forward, the bass player would become an important part of the writing process and the development of new material.

Our influences include La Femme, Radiohead, Crystal Castles, The Smashing Pumpkins, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Nirvana, Verdena, The Dandy Warhols, Four Tet, Boards of Canada, Nicolas Jaar and more.
