ABOUT

I am a Classical and Fingerstyle Guitar Teacher based in St Albans, with over 25 years of experience teaching children and adults. I offer face-to-face lessons across Hertfordshire from my home studio, and can also travel locally depending on distance.

I specialise in classical performance, composition, arranging and musical analysis, and I previously taught at Yamaha Music School, where I worked with students of all ages. Over time I developed my own structured approach that blends clear technique, expressive playing and strong musical understanding. I teach children and adults using methods tailored to their age, pace and goals.

I work with all musical genres and can arrange any piece — classical, pop, folk, rock, blues, metal, film music or traditional songs — to match the student’s level. This allows learners to study proper technique while playing music they genuinely enjoy.
