Label details: Serial Number FV5931/249, Frame MS5126, 1/2 HP, 1440 rpm, 3 - 6 amp full load, 50 cycle, 230 / 240 V, and Rating... cont.
Other details: Shaft diasmeter is 3/4 inch nominal, keyway 5/32 inch and pulley dia. 4 inch.
Base bracket fixing hole centres are 3 x 5 3/8 inches
Weight 36 lb. (16.36 kg) approx.
It has been connected to mains power recently, albeit via a temporary arrangement, and found to run under no load, and at what appeared to be the designed no load speed. But has not been run under load.
Note that the unit is already packaged, and that the elbow through which the mains cable is routed as illustrated, has been detached to facilitate packing.
Offered as not being in working order, for restoration or for parts.
