Vintage/antique hand-forged wrought iron “S” hook, approximately 10cm long.
Traditional blacksmith-forged construction with an irregular shape, dark aged iron patina and tapered pointed ends. These sturdy hooks were historically used as butcher’s hooks, pot hooks or game hooks, particularly in kitchens, smokehouses and workshops for hanging meat, game, cookware or other heavy items.
A lovely piece of rustic farmhouse and industrial antique hardware, equally suitable for practical use or as a decorative feature.
