Description
The SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic features a range of 3-octave (from C4), a magnetic (springless) slider system and polished, stainless steel reeds. It is definitely a state-of-the-art instrument and is wonderful to play. The comb is black anodised aluminum, it has a half-moon shaped mouthpiece, and a high-quality, sturdy case. The slider system is unique; it provides extremely low-friction, reliable slide movement. Maintenance is astonishingly simple. All parts are screwed individually to the comb by only one, Philips, screwdriver. I recently bought a Seydel Grand Chromatic and travel with a Saxony so the 48 Chromatic has become one more harmonica than I need, Sad really, because it is truly a lovely instrument to play.
