Description
Beautiful French earthenware confit pot with characteristic yellow ochre glaze.
These traditional vessels were used to cook and store preserved foods but are now sought after as decorative, rustic pieces for home decor.
It’s in good overall condition, some loss to glazing on the rim and it also looks to have had a repair (hence the price) on one side but this doesn’t go through to the internals as the internal glaze is intact.
It measures 23cm high and approx 26cm wide from handle to handle.
