Description
For sale is my vintage Black Panel 1964 Fender Tremolux Amplifier Head and 2 x 10'' Cabinet (35 watts). Awesome Fender black panel tones with a sweet tremolo (vibrato) circuit. No issues in the decades of my ownership. The first time I had the amp serviced the experienced amp tech said it was the best sounding tremolux he'd ever heard. Serious buyer is welcome to check out the amp and try before you buy.
Details as follows:
Amp Head is all original as far as I know with the amp professionally converted to UK 240v before I bought it. I can't guarantee every component is original only that it has not been messed with during my owneership. PAT tested but now out of date. The grill has been changed to match the recovered cabinet (original amp grill included). Logo is original. The tremolo footswitch is a reissue. The output and rectifier valves are Groove Tubes and push an all tube 35 watts.
Cabinet is original including the logo except recovered in Fender smooth black tolex with new period correct silver sparkle grill cloth by Tom at Hoffnine. The 10'' speakers are vintage Oxford's. The chrome fender tilt side supports legs are Fender reissue. The screws and fitments to secure the amp head to the cabinet are original.
Also included are bespoke black vinyl covers for the head and cabinet (not pictured) made in the USA by Custom Covers.

Cash prefered or bank transfer of funds on collection from Prestwick or meet up. Happy to travel / drive within reason and I am in Glasgow city centre regularly. If you want to hear the amp however, buyer will need to come to me. If you can see this post the item is still available. Thanks for looking and please check out my other items.
