Peavey Bandit 112 transtube guitar amp - ‘Red Stripe'

I’m reducing the amount of guitars and music gear I have so as part of that I’m selling my Peavey Bandit 112 guitar amp. I’ve owned this amp from new, bought in 2005 from Bairds Music shop on the York Road in Belfast. It’s in excellent condition and has been well looked after.

This is the ‘Red Stripe’ version of the Bandit, considered to be the best iteration of it. 2 channels - clean and lead, with a master section. Sounds great, and is punchy and loud if you need volume, with lots of headroom on the clean channel. Takes pedal very well. Rated at 80W, going to 100W with a second cab. It has a spring reverb. The effects loop has switchable levels. Comes with power lead and original, fully working foot-switch for channel-switching and turning the effects loop on and off.

The main features of this amp are: versatile, sounds great, punchy and loud with lots of headroom, 2 channels (clean switches between vintage/modern, dirty channel switches between vintage/modern/high gain), switchable effects loop, reverb.

This is a great rock amp and a great gigging amp (I don’t gig any more) and would also completely enhance any rehearsal space. Can keep up with a drummer no problem.

I’m asking £200 for this classic, vintage amp that is in fantastic condition. Little used and always stored with care.
